XSK8.de: Fabiola, sometimes you are screaming loud when you’re high above the halfpipe. Why? Fabiola da Silva: I'm not mad or anything, it's just sometimes you get frustrated, somehow you gotta let it out, so that s the way i am. i just yell really loud and get back in the ramp and try to do it again.
XSK8.de: Seems to be working good. And what are you doing when you re not skating? Fabiola da Silva: When I'm not skating, I like to surf, hang out with my friends, go shopping, get my nails done ... I'm a girl, you know, so I do girls things with my friends, so it s always fun. I like to go to the beach.
XSK8.de: Maybe you could say something to girls who are skating. There are not many girls who keep on skating, somehow, what should they do that they don t give up? Fabiola da Silva: I would say to all the girls, that this sports is not only a male sport, that anyone could go out there and try it out. I mean, just be safe. In the beginning it's not that easy sometimes, but don t give up, just stay true to yourself and do what you like to do.
XSK8.de: One more thing, it just comes into my mind, there were the rumors that they're doing a film with you , is that right? Fabiola da Silva: Yeah, it's a project that we have, it's been around for a year and a half, and it s going to be a movie about my life and hopefully we can get it done and start it soon. It's not much that I can say, because it is still a project, you know, but the producer is Clifford Werber, the guy that did the Cinderella movie, so it's supposed to be good.
